On 15 October, the final chess competition of the year-round sports competition among the university's faculties was held at the university's sports complex No. 7. Students competed for the honour of their faculties and for the title of the best of the best.
The prize places were distributed as follows:
1st place – Konstantin Shevlyukov, student of the Faculty of Mathematics and Programming Technologies (responsible for sports and mass work at the faculty – V.N. Tomashov).
2nd place – Gordey Koval'kov, student of the Faculty of Philology (responsible for sports and mass work at the faculty – S.V. Martynovich).
3rd place – Alexey Pikas, student of the Faculty of Geology and Geography (responsible for sports and mass activities at the faculty – A.V. Blashkevich).
The head of the sports club, S.N. Kuleshov, and the chief judge of the competition, senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, A.V. Blashkevich, awarded the winner and prize-winners with diplomas and sweet prizes from the sports club.
